Fish With Me · last updated 21 October 2026

In short: the game itself collects nothing about you and has no account. Everything you do in it stays on your iPhone. The only things that leave your phone are a coin-pack purchase, which goes to Apple, and, only if you choose to watch an optional ad, what Google's ad service needs to show it.

What stays on your iPhone

Your sessions, tasks, fish journal, coins, purchases list (Coin history), settings and progress are saved in the app's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Your iPhone's backups (iCloud or your computer) include them, as they do for any app. Deleting the app deletes them.

The game has no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no tracking. It never asks for permission to track you across apps and websites.

Notifications

If you allow them, the game schedules gentle reminders on your iPhone itself (for example, a nudge if you step away during a focus session, or when a break is over). They are local notifications: nothing is sent to a server to deliver them. You can turn them off at any time in the iPhone's Settings.

Coin packs (in-app purchases)

Coin packs are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and shares nothing about you with us beyond what the App Store tells every developer (such as sales figures). The game checks each purchase on your device with Apple's own signed receipt and keeps a list of what you bought, on your device, so the coins arrive once. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Optional ads

In the tackle box's Get coins tab you can choose to watch a short ad for some coins, up to three a day. Nothing reaches the ad service until you open Get coins, and an ad only plays when you tap to watch one. The ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and are always non-personalised: the game never asks for App Tracking Transparency, so the advertising identifier isn't available to it.

When the ad service is used, Google's SDK may collect:

Google uses this to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve its services. If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, Google's consent form appears the first time you tap to watch an ad, and Ad privacy choices in Get coins lets you change your choice. To avoid ads entirely, don't tap the ad card, or turn on Hide coin packs and ads in Settings.

See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
